Here’s how to do it:
1. On your older computer, open iTunes.
2. Click to select one of your playlists on the left.
3. Now click File, then Library and finally Export Playlist. A Save dialog will appear with the name of the playlist (e.g. “Driving Mix 2010″), but before you save it, use the drop-down menu to select .xml (instead of .txt).
4. Now select which folder on your hard drive you’d like this file saved in (such as C:\Temp).
5. Repeat steps 2 through 4 for any other playlist you’d like to export out of iTunes.
Once you’ve done this, on your new computer:
1. Open up iTunes
2. From the File menu, choose Library and then Import Playlist.
3. Navigate to and select one of the exported playlist files in the location that you saved your playlist files. Click Open.
4. Repeat steps 1 through 3 for other playlist files that you’ve exported.
That’s it!
